FAQ

Got questions? We’ve got answers to help you feel confident and excited about preserving your flowers.

General Questions

1. What exactly is flower preservation?

Flower preservation is the art of saving your special occasion flowers ,such as wedding bouquets ,and turning them into beautiful keepsakes using resin and other display methods. This lets you treasure your blooms for years to come.

2. What kind of flowers can you preserve?

Most fresh flowers can be preserved, but some hold up better than others. Roses, proteas, carnations, and chrysanthemums preserve beautifully. Fragile flowers (like tulips or lilies) may change shape or lose color, but we’ll advise you on the best options, and offer color correction services

3. When should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak wedding season. This allows us to reserve your spot.

Before Sending Your Flowers

4. How do I send my flowers to you?

You can find detailed packing instructions on our website. Flowers are collected the next working day after your event.(this option is only available to cliemts who have booked in advance) If you're nearby, you can drop them off by appointment.

5. What if my flowers are already a few days old?

The sooner we receive them, the better ,but we can still work with flowers that are a few days old in most cases. Slight wilting is okay; our drying process helps bring them back to life in a new way.

6. Can I send dried flowers?

Yes! If your bouquet is already air-dried or you've saved petals, we can absolutely preserve them in resin pieces.

Process & Products

7. What products can I choose from?

We offer a variety of keepsakes ,from large resin blocks and frames to jewelry, coasters, keychains, ring holders, and more. We do not offer any products outside of our catalog.

8. How long does the process take?

Turnaround time is typically up to 4 months depending on your order size, the type of flowers, and our production queue. If there are any delays, we’ll always keep you updated.

9. Do you send photos during the process?

Yes! We share images of design options before pouring (this is only for large pieces). You'll also receive sneak peeks via WhatsApp . We want you to feel involved in the magic.

Caring for Your Piece

10. How do I care for my resin keepsake?

Keep your resin piece out of direct sunlight and avoid high heat. Clean with a soft cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners to maintain its shine and clarity.

11. Will the flowers stay the same color?

Some color changes are natural during the drying process. Whites may turn ivory, reds can deepen, and blues might fade slightly. Each piece is unique and beautiful in its own way.

Policies & Payments

12. What is your payment policy?

A R250 booking fee is required to secure your booking. A 50% deposit is due prior to us receiving your flowers. The balance is due before delivery. We only accept EFT.

13. Do you offer refunds?

Because of the highly custom nature of our work, refunds are not available. However, if there’s a problem with your order, we’ll do everything we can to make it right.

Color correction

14. Will my flowers look exactly the same after preservation?

Not always. Some color changes are natural during the drying and resin process. For example:

White flowers may turn ivory or cream

Reds can deepen to burgundy

Pinks may become more muted

Blues and purples might fade slightly

We always aim to retain as much of the original beauty as possible, but slight changes are part of the process, and make each piece uniquely yours.

15. Do you offer color correction for faded flowers?

Yes, we offer color correction . This add on service can be purchased along with your selected products or added on once you've seen your dried flower results.

We use a unique process to enhance the color of your flowers and make them look as close to your wedding day as possible.
